European Indexes Flat to Lower

Sentiment was dampened by a weaker-than-expected reading in a German investor confidence index

London: FTSE shares head south at mid-session Tuesday, in line with other European bourses, after a weaker-than-expected reading of the ZEW German investor confidence index. In the US, shares are also seen opening lower, ahead of the release of US housing starts and permits figures.
