EADS to Offer Suborbital Space Tours

Astrium, part of aerospace giant EADS, plans to take tourists into space (for an astronomical cost) as soon as 2012

European firm EADS Astrium has unveiled plans in Paris for a new spacecraft that would take passengers into space and experience three minutes of weightlessness for a hefty fare of ¬150,000. The first flight is planned for 2012.
