Productivity offline

I drove down to the Jersey shore, checked into a hotel, and wrote for three days. I was twice as productive as usual, and here are the reasons: No family, no cats, no fridge, no chores, and most important, no Internet. I kept in e-mail connection through a Blackberry, but did no Web surfing. I believe that if I turned off the WiFi on this machine, my productivity would soar. Blogging of course would wither, as it did this week.
