Vultures Over The Hamptons.By
I am used to seeing vultures out at the Hamptons. It is full of hedge fund managers and other Wall Street types.
But this weekend I was having fish and chips at my favorite outdoor dive and in flew a REAL vulture. It was a turkey vulture, a “TV” in birders parlance. At first I thought it was a big crow but as it approached, maybe 50 feet overhead, I could see that it was, indeed, a TV.
Now, you get lots of turkey vultures in Florida and lands of the hot sun. But in the New York area? Naw.
So….More evidence of global warming making for very strange happenings.
And what are these vultures eating anyway?
