Those Darn Student Climate Activists: They Use the Web

Heather Green

So my excuse for talking on this blog about a story I did about the rising movement of climate activism on campuses is that...they use the Web to organize in many cases! In fact, the intial example I use in my story is about Step It Up, a day of local green rallies on April 14th that the organizers are hoping will be massively distributed using YouTube, Flickr, and blogs.

That's just the context though for a movement that's building across hundreds of campuses in the U.S. for practical action to address climate change.

Before it's here, it's on the Bloomberg Terminal.
