Latest Off-Shoring Rankings

Steve Hamm

The latest A.T. Kearney survey of offshoring competitiveness has come out, and India retains its spot on the top of the list. So, in spite of wage inflation and high attrition rates, India remains the most attractive location in the world for offshoring IT and BPO work. A.T. Kearney expects the cost advantages of off-shoring to exist for another 20 years. The most surprising findings to me: Egypt, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates all did well. I would have thought that they would not have the scale and experience to make the grade as attractive locations.
