Taser Jolts Up After Reporting Results

Shares of the stun gun maker were sparked higher as sales and profits recovered in the last quarter

Even as Taser International (TASR) continued battling lawsuits about the safety of its stun guns, the Scottsdale (Ariz.) company on Feb. 21 posted surging profits and sales during the three months ended Dec. 31. The stock shot up 8.2% to $9 in during early afternoon trading Feb. 21.
