Home Depot (HD) posts fourth-quarter earnings per share (EPS) of 46 cents, vs. 60 cents a year ago, on 6.6% lower comp-store sales and 4.0% higher total sales. The retailer notes that fourth-quarter fiscal year 2007 EPS includes 4 cents related to executive severance. It cites the challenging housing market.
