Gap between our interests and our blogging

We've started an experiment at home. We're occasionally watching the evening news. If forces us to look at stories we normally wouldn't read. Most of them, I've noticed, (along with the commercials we Tivo past) are about health. Then today I look at the Times' list of the most e-mailed stories, and what do you know? Breast cancer and colonoscopies top the list, with AIDS number four. The most blogged stories, by contrast, are about war and politics.
