Nokia Feels the Squeeze

The company expects lower margins amid bruising competition and a sales shift toward less-profitable markets like China and India

The Finnish cell phone heavyweight Nokia (NOK) said Nov. 28 that it's expecting lower profit margins during the coming years as it starts up a new joint venture with Germany's Siemens (SI). But Nokia is also victim to global trends affecting other cell phone companies.
