The Market Takes a Breather

Recent pullbacks have been very small -- and very quick

The stock market finally took a breather last week with the Dow Jones industrial average and S&P 500 index falling for the first time in seven weeks. Bond yields fell sharply and tested their recent lows before reversing very sharply to the upside on Friday. Crude oil futures fell but held support in the high $50s.
