European Indexes Mixed
In London Thursday, the FTSE 100 index turns slightly higher at mid-session ahead of a raft of data expected in the US. Futures point to a mixed open on Wall Street as investors await data on US durable goods orders and new home sales. The strike at Escondida continues into the 17th day. Crude is lower at US$71.70 on a surprise build in gasoline stocks yesterday. Oil major BP (-0.98%) cuts production at its Alaskan oil field following a technical fault.
