Early in the Japanese luxury brand's life, Lexus lifted a line from Macbeth to describe a forthcoming car, warning lyrically "something wicked this way comes." Like most automotive advertising, the pitch somewhat overstated the case. "Something?" Clearly. "This way comes?" Undoubtedly. "Wicked"? Not exactly.
