Tekken: Dark Resurrection

Tekken makes a surprisingly strong jump to the PSP, with only some slight issues tainting the power of its ferocious punch

Releasing a fighting game for the PSP is kind of like trying to play a piano while wearing hand casts. Due to the complexity of the situation, you may find yourself in a bit of a struggle. However, Tekken: Dark Resurrection turns out to be the most comfortable fighting game for the handheld yet. Despite some slight issues with the control scheme, the game still delights with its arcade-faithful presentation and its various modes, including Ghost Mode (this could be the next big thing for fighting games) and the return of Tekken Bowling. It would have been nice to see a PS2 port first, but Dark Resurrection is a key addition to anyone's PSP library.
