Moma is podcasting: The loudside
Have you ever spent time in a quiet place with someone listening to an iPod? They're loud. Now I see that New York's Museum of Modern Art is joining the trend of podcasting its museum tours. (from Steve Rubel) I'm thinking that I'll be contemplating a Picasso and hearing the guy next to me who, perhaps bored by the museum talk, has switched to 50 Cent. And next, when podcasting moves to mobile phones--only a matter of time--do you think people in museums will be tempted to use them for something else? Like talking?
