Live 8 Mashup

David Sifry writes that AOL is joining the blogging efforts around Live 8.

AOL and Technorati are dynamically tracking what bloggers are saying about Live 8 at AOL's Live 8 BlogZone. That's the project called Blog One that is trying to recruit bloggers around the Web to shape the message around Live 8, the concerts designed to raise awareness of poverty and disease in Africa around the G8 meeting.

It's an innovative project online, reaching across the political digital gap by having the backing of John Hinderacker of conservative Powerline and Joe Trippi,. who ran Howard Dean's presidential run.

Skeptics, including Ethan Zuckerman and supporters, like Dan Gillmor, are lining up among bloggers.

Before it's here, it's on the Bloomberg Terminal.
