Love anything with dark at the beginning of it, dark arts, darknets, etc. etc.

So here we go, dark blogs, straight from Corante's Strange Attractor blog. Suw Charman's has done a case study of internal blogging at a European pharmaceutical group that has nearly 4,000 employees.

The Precis: The company tried out six blogs as a way to share competitive intelligence about its industry in house. "Although the jury is still out, early reaction is very encouraging," writes Charman in the case study. "The CIO is now examining the possibility of increasing the number of blogs from the six currently in place, for use in more project-based work across the group."

According to Charman, the company turned to Traction Software's TeamPage corporate blogging software, after less than stellare results using Lotus Notes and internal Web pages.
