Europe Stocks Fall
European stock markets lost ground on Wednesday. London's FTSE 100 index was down 11 points, or 0.22%, to 4,971.5. Britain's first-quarter GDP was revised down to 2.7% from 2.8%. Among stocks on the move, GUS fell while Burberry rose after GUS said it would spin off its stake in Burberry later this year.
