Automated PR inspires paranoia
I got a glimpse of the future of P.R. yesterday, and I shuddered. The idea, as explained by Dan Forbush of PR Newswire, is that journalists will provide keywords that they're interested in, and those will be transmitted as RSS feeds to experts who can contact the journalists and inform them. "RSS is going to be our salvation," said Forbush, who runs the ProfNet experts service.
