An English B-School Reaches Out
Sean Rickard joined Britain's Cranfield School of Management 10 years ago as a senior lecturer in business economics. Located about 50 miles northwest of London, the school is part of Cranfield University, a teaching and research institution comprising only postgraduate programs. The management school made its formal debut in 1967 and now competes with such larger, more well-known schools as Oxford and Cambridge.
