Oracle Climbs on Higher Earnings

Texas Instruments rises despite mixed results; Eastman Kodak gains on 2005 revenue expectations; plus more of Wednesday's stocks in the news

Oracle (ORCL ) sees fiscal 2005 earnings per share (pro forma) growth of 24%, to 62 cents. The company targets fiscal 2006 earnings per share at 76 cents to 80 cents. It notes the PeopleSoft acquisition is on track to contribute to pro forma earnings per share growth in both fiscal 2005 and fiscal 2006.
