"A Very Iffy Period for Stocks"

That's what S&P's Joseph Lisanti sees, at least until after the election -- but there are still some buys out there

The stock market continues to stay in a very tight trading range on the Standard & Poor's 500 index, and it's "a very iffy period for stocks," says Joseph Lisanti, editor of the S&P newsletter, The Outlook. Volume has been moderate, and with both September and October historically difficult months for stocks -- and a tight Presidential race in the offing -- any significant market move may have to await the election results, Lisanti adds.
