Treasuries End Lower
Treasury prices finished lower Friday, despite an overnight rise in prices due to renewed terrorism fears (some warranted, most not). Informa Global Markets reports that Treasuries erased their early morning gains following the Saudi oil increase production comments. "The subsequent dip in crude below $40 underpinned a spike in stocks and the pullback in bonds as weaker oil prices bode well for the economy," says Informa.
