Eliot Spitzer has long been the scourge of crooked mutual-fund and hedge-fund managers. Now, he's tending to his own affairs. The New York State Attorney General is returning $21,000 in donations from real estate mogul Donald Trump, BusinessWeek Online has learned, to avoid the "appearance of a conflict," according to Spitzer 2006 Managing Director Cynthia Darrison.
