Europe Markets Close Higher
European stock markets finished higher on Friday. London's Financial Times-Stock Exchange 100 index was up 31.8 points, or 0.71%, to 4,537.3 following reports Britain's unemployment remained unchanged at 2.9% in March while personal wages surged 4.9% in the first quarter, the fastest pace in nearly 2-1/2 years.
