Treasuries Rally

Prices soared as the FOMC was concerned about labor and not as upbeat on the economy as had been feared

Treasuries prices finished higher after the Federal Reserve decided to keep its target for the federal funds rate at 1%. The Federal Open Market Committee stated: "With inflation quite low and resource use slack, the Committee believes that it can be patient in removing its policy accommodation."
