General Clark may outrank Lieutenant Kerry (not to mention civilian Dean), but that didn't sway 'em in N.H. Plus: Dean's new insider

Bars and stripes don't promise votes: Democratic Presidential rivals John Kerry and Wesley Clark are engaged in hand-to-hand combat for the support of their fellow veterans. At each event, the two decorated Vietnam vets make a point of recognizing and thanking former soldiers in attendance. Clark took some flack after pointing out that he's a retired general who spent a career in the military while Kerry was a mere lieutenant who entered politics after his tour of duty.
