S&P Lowers Rating Outlook for Janus

The ratings agency cites concerns over the financial performance of -- and the outflow of funds from -- the mutual-fund company

On Dec. 19, Standard & Poor's Ratings Services revised its outlook on Janus Capital Group (JNS ) to negative from stable. At the same time, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'BBB+' senior unsecured debt and 'BBB+/A-2' counterparty credit ratings on the Denver-based mutual fund distributor.
