GE Unit Agrees to Acquire Instrumentarium

General Electric's (GE ) GE Medical Systems unit agrees to acquire Instrumentarium (INMRY ), a European medical equipment maker, for about $2 billion. Terms: EUR 40 per INMRY share. (12/18)

Vivendi Universal (V ) agreed to sell its 10% stake in EchoStar Communications (DISH ) back to the direct-satellite provider for $1.07 billion in cash. (12/18)
