Treasuries Finish Higher

The Bush Administration continued its push for military action against Iraq, helping Treasuries to extend gains

The markets gave little credibility to Iraq's apparent concession on admitting U.N. weapons inspectors unconditionally. The two-year note yield rose about 10 basis points overnight on the news on concessions as some of the war premium was taken out and global equities rallied.
