Play Ball -- or Picket?

Where do you stand on the possibilty that another strike could soon silence America's baseball stadiums?

If you've taken a look at the sports pages recently, you've probably noticed plenty of talk about a possible strike later this summer by Major League Baseball players -- or a lock out by team owners.

The primary issues are demands by the owners for changes that would help them control expenses -- which in turn could affect player compensation. That battle pits some of the world's richest individuals -- the owners -- against some of the world's richest athletes -- the players (see BW Online, 7/17/02, "One More Strike -- and They're Out").

What's your view of this unfolding spectacle? That's the subject of this BusinessWeek Online survey -- which, as always, isn't scientific, since anyone who wishes to can participate.

Before it's here, it's on the Bloomberg Terminal.
