JP Morgan Downgrades SonicWALL to 'Long-term Buy'

The Internet security company says it didn't achieve its planned level of penetration of large enterprise networks

JP Morgan downgraded SonicWALL (SNWL ) to long-term buy from buy.

Analyst Sterling Auty says SonicWALL's revenue shortfall highlights potential pricing issues. He says revenue estimates will come down 10%-20%. He notes less than expected traction with transaction security revenue, and does not expect to see a significant increase in 2002.
