USB Piper Downgrades Motorola Rating

Analyst Samuel May says few catalysts other than PCS exist to drive revenue and profitability momentum over the near term

Motorola (MOT ) shares were lower after the company reaffirmed its fourth-quarter estimates. The company thinks it can achieve the 2002 consensus EPS estimate of $0.15, although on lower sales. USB Piper downgraded its rating on the shares to market perform from outperform.
