Finance Minister Shaukat Aziz says his country's goal is to develop a consensus to the maximum extent possible among its citizens

In 1999, 53-year-old Shaukat Aziz, an executive vice-president with Citibank in New York, left after 30 years to take the post as Pakistan's Finance Minister. Now, Pakistan has signed on to the Bush Administration's campaign to apprehend Osama bin Laden in neighboring Afghanistan and stamp our terrorism in general.
