U.S. Markets Shut Down After Terrorist Attacks

Trading was canceled after the Penatagon suffered heavy damage and the World Trade Center was destroyed

Financial markets shut down Tuesday after two planes crashed into the World Trade Center, causing the twin towers to collapse in one of the worst terrorist attacks in history. A third plane crashed into the Pentagon in Washington D.C., according to news reports.
