Emerging Markets "Will Grow...Twice as Fast"
Globalization is nothing new to Citibank. Next year, the company will celebrate 100 years in Asia, and it has been in South America since 1914. But until recently, Citi's focus was on large corporations and rich consumers. Now, in addition to the major business it has built among the upper-middle classes in Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe, Citi is reach out to low-income consumers and small companies.
