Fed Governor Meyer's inflation warning knocked Treasuries for a loop

A late afternoon "tape bomb" from Federal Reserve Bank Governor Meyer knocked the stuffing out of the market Thursday. The yield on the 2-year note surged over 10 basis points on the move, while the long bond climbed five basis points to finish a point lower.
