Long Bond Sinks
Curve steepening trades and supply, the major factors behind Tuesday's trade, pressured the long bond throughout the session and forced the yield up to the 5.75% vicinity. Meanwhile, short and intermediate securities continued their outperformance, shrugging off bearish productivity data and easily digesting supply.
