For This Turtle, Life Is No Beach Hotel

Guided by starlight reflected off the waters of Mexico's Caribbean coast, tiny sea turtle hatchlings scurry every which way over the sand. Slowly, the palm-size creatures find their bearings. As they follow a crooked path to the sea, a wave breaks, carrying them off. On just this one night, hundreds of hatchlings on X'cacel beach, 68 miles south of Cancun, crawl to the water, helped by student volunteers.
