The former Prime Minister rates the new leadership

Yasuhiro Nakasone, 80, who served as Prime Minister from 1982-87, is widely credited with being Japan's strongest leader in the past 25 years. On July 28, the Liberal Democratic Party elder statesman talked politics with BUSINESS WEEK correspondent Irene M. Kunii in his office in Nagatacho, Tokyo's Capitol Hill.
