A Pedigreed Fund Goes Retail
For nine years, Polaris Global Value fund has had a stellar run. Its returns of 24.47% and 21.10% for the three and five years ending June 30 handily beat the Morgan Stanley Capital International World Index' gains of 19.73% and 16.16%, respectively. But manager Bernard Horn wouldn't let you buy in with anything below $100,000.
