The Patron Saint Of Viagra

ACE GREENBERG SAYS HE HAS BEEN LOOKING for ways to improve the quality of other people's lives. So on June 9, the chairman of Bear, Stearns announced he was donating $1 million to provide Viagra to impotent patients who can not afford Pfizer's new drug. The money will be doled out through the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. "I just read about people having problems getting coverage from their insurance companies, and I felt this was something I could help with," he says. What's next on his charitable list? "Show me an idea that will give people this much pleasure who can't afford it, and I'll do it," he says.
