It's hard to fault the leadership of Federal Reserve Board Chairman Alan Greenspan, especially now with the economy in its best shape in a generation. His carefully objective policy decisions, his cordial relationship with the White House, and the respect he has earned on Wall Street are a model for all future Fed chiefs.
