Last February, America Online had its hands full, battling hordes of angry customers who found themselves unable to sign onto the congested online service. Now, those days seem far in the past. On Feb. 2, the company's stock price broke 100 for the first time, triple its 52-week low. The good news: AOL announced that it had completed its purchase of CompuServe's subscriber base of 2 million-plus users. There is a sizable hoard of cash for potential acquisitions.
