Issy Sharp isn't much impressed when the Rolling Stones slink through the lobby of one of his posh Four Seasons hotels. The Stones have been regulars for years. In fact, whether it's Julia Roberts, Sanford Weill, or Jimmy Carter, famous people are a dime a dozen at the Four Seasons these days. What's far harder to find is an empty room. And with basic rates starting above $400 a night in such cities as New York and London, that's just the way Isadore Sharp likes it.
