U.S.: How Long Will Inflation Hawks Be Grounded?

With jobs still growing, consumers could raise price fears again

Inflation hawks are becoming an endangered species. Whenever they start to circle, they get shot down by another burst of inflationless economic data. The latest load of buckshot was fired by the June employment report. It showed slower-than-expected growth in payrolls, a rise in the unemployment rate, and an actual slowdown in wage growth.
