3 D For Windows 95

Three-dimensional drawing programs are a mainstay of computer-assisted design work, but they have long required the horsepower of an engineering workstation to perform well. Now, 3D/Eye Inc. (800 946-9533), an Ithaca (N.Y.) software company, has brought 3-D drawing and model-building to the desktop with Trispectives for Windows 95. The $299 program requires some effort to learn--visualizing 3-D hasn't gotten easier since you struggled through solid geometry. But it allows even those with limited drawing skills to create realistic 3-D models that can easily become illustrations in a printed document or slide presentation.
