Heading for the exits in hotels and casinos is WMS Industries (WMS). Instead, it will focus on video games, lotteries, slot machines, and pinball. Why? Some reckon that Viacom Chairman Sumner Redstone, who owns 25% of WMS, might be inclined to take a larger stake, if not a controlling one, if WMS were rid of such businesses. The stock is on the ropes: After a high of 24 1/4 in early February, it has slumped to 17.
