Your Commentary "How immigration caps choke off growth" (News: Analysis & Commentary, Oct. 9) fails to account for the thousands of educated workers who have joined the ranks of the unemployed as a result of the restructuring that has taken place in America's high-tech industries. In addition, I think that a check of U.S. colleges and universities will reveal that, compared with prior years, a far larger percentage of graduates now leave the institutions without jobs or even job prospects.
