Liberalism Is Getting Old

Fund-raising for liberal causes may really be dying out. A survey by the Mellman Group and A.B. Data Group says the average age of direct-mail donors to liberal groups is 65, and actuarially, 40% of them will be dead in 10 years. The poll's message for environmental, pro-choice, and gun-control lobbies: Target younger givers.
